1. Scope of Application

This Policy applies to products and services related to the ChatU platform. For certain independent products/features provided by us and our affiliated companies on this platform that have their own separate Privacy Policies, the relevant products/features shall be subject to their respective independent Privacy Policies.

When you use this platform, the personal information we need or may need to collect and use includes the following two types:

1. To provide you with the basic functions of this platform and fulfill the obligations stipulated by laws and regulations, you must authorize us to collect and use necessary information. If you refuse to provide the corresponding information, you will not be able to use this platform normally.

2. To provide you with certain additional features on this platform that enhance your experience, you may choose to individually consent or not consent to the information we collect and use. Once you provide the relevant information to ChatU, it will be deemed that you have obtained the authorization of the relevant parties, and any losses arising therefrom shall be borne by you.

(1) Apply to use this platform

Currently, this platform only provides services to some of you who have obtained invitation qualifications. You can apply for usage qualifications on the ChatU website. When you apply to use this platform, you need to log in to your ChatU account. If you newly register a ChatU account, we need to collect your mobile phone number and account name to create the account and send you SMS verification codes.

(2) Enhance the user experience

We attach great importance to protecting your privacy and regard this as an important policy of the ChatU platform. The registration information you provide and other information we collect about you are all protected by relevant laws of the People's Republic of China (abbreviated as "China" in the Privacy Policy, but excluding the Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao regions of China). Subject to compliance with Chinese laws, during your use of this platform, we will collect the following information you provide:

1. The text information you entered

Once you obtain the qualification to use this platform, ChatU will provide you with services such as chat interaction, answering questions, and generating images. We will collect the text information you input to provide human-machine interaction services such as text-to-text or text-to-image based on your text information. Additionally, on the premise of de-identification and the inability to re-identify specific individuals, we will also use the text information you input and the results output by the model to continuously improve ChatU's understanding ability and output quality. If you refuse to input text information, you will not be able to experience the basic functions of this platform.

2. Platform Service Evaluation

During your use of this platform, you can provide feedback and evaluation on the content output by ChatU, including likes, dislikes, and detailed feedback information. We will collect the service evaluations you actively submit and continuously optimize the quality of ChatU's output content. Please note that all such information is de-identified and cannot be traced back to you personally.

If the content of your review involves third-party information (including but not limited to personal information), before entering such information, you must ensure that you have obtained legal authorization to avoid disclosing others' personal information and infringing upon others' rights. Once you fill in the relevant information, it shall be deemed that you have obtained the authorization from the relevant parties, and any losses arising therefrom shall be borne by you.

(3) Provide you with relevant product features and/or services

To implement the following product features and/or services, we may need to collect corresponding personal information from you. If you refuse to provide such information, you will not be able to use the specific services or additional features.

(4) Conversation History Query and Management

To provide you with a continuous and consistent service experience and ensure the service quality of this platform, we will collect your conversation records, including the text conversation information you input and the conversation topics formed based on the above information. You can search for and manage your conversation history that has not been deleted.

(5) Operational Analysis

We may use log data (including your browser information and type, the date and time of your request, and how you interact with our website), usage information (your location, such as Client date and access time, type of computer or mobile device, network information), device information (including information about the device you are using, operating system, and browser type), and online analytics products for cookies to help us analyze how you use our platform services and enhance your experience.

We promise that we will not use cookies for any purpose other than those described in this policy, and will not disclose them to third parties without your authorization. We use cookies primarily to ensure the secure and efficient operation of our platform services, which allows us to confirm the security status of your account, troubleshoot related anomalies such as crashes and delays, and help you avoid the steps and processes of repeatedly filling out forms and entering content.

To enhance the security of this platform, protect your or other users' or the public's personal safety, property safety, and account security, better prevent security risks such as phishing websites, fraud, network vulnerabilities, computer viruses, cyberattacks, network intrusions, and malicious programs, and more accurately identify situations that violate laws, regulations, or relevant agreements and rules, we and our affiliated companies will collect your device information, log information from using this platform, and relevant content you provide, and may use or integrate your device information and log information from using this platform to comprehensively assess the risks associated with your account and usage, conduct identity verification, detect and prevent security incidents, and take necessary recording, auditing, analysis, and handling measures in accordance with the law to enhance your experience in the future.

(7) Situations where obtaining your authorization and consent is legally exempted

Please understand that in the following circumstances, in accordance with laws, regulations, and national standards, we may transfer or disclose your personal information without obtaining your prior authorization and consent:

You may submit a request to us to delete personal information in the following situations:

If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also notify, to the extent possible, the entities that have obtained your personal information from us and request them to delete it promptly (unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations or these entities have independently obtained your authorization).

After you or we assist you in deleting relevant information, due to applicable legal and security technology limitations, we may not be able to immediately delete the corresponding information from the backup system. We will securely store your personal information and restrict any further processing of it until the backup can be cleared or anonymization is achieved.

(4) Change the scope of authorization

You may contact us through customer service to change or revoke the scope of your authorization for us to process your personal information.

(5) Account Cancellation

You can apply to cancel your account after logging into the Account Center. After you voluntarily cancel your account, we will stop providing you with all services on this platform and delete or anonymize your personal information, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations.

(6) Respond to your above request

You, or possibly your guardian, close relatives, and other entitled entities, may initiate the above requests to us, as well as assert your relevant personal information rights stipulated by the laws of the People's Republic of China and other applicable laws, by contacting customer service. We will respond within 15 days.

To safeguard the security of your account and your personal information, when you submit the above request to us, we may first verify your identity (such as by adding account verification, asking you to provide a written request, or other reasonable means) before processing your request.

We may reject requests for information that is not directly related to your identity, information that is repeatedly requested without reasonable justification, or requests that require excessive technical means (such as developing a new system or fundamentally changing current practices), pose risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or are impractical.

We hereby specifically remind you that the personal information protection measures provided in this Privacy Policy only apply to the ChatU platform and related services. Once you leave the ChatU platform and related services to browse or use other websites, services, and content resources, we have neither the ability nor the obligation to protect any personal information you submit on software or websites outside the ChatU platform and related services, regardless of whether you log in, browse, or use the above software or websites based on links or guidance from the ChatU platform.

 

4. Information Storage

(1) Storage Period

We will only retain your personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy, unless there are mandatory retention requirements under the law. After the retention period has expired, we will delete or anonymize your information in accordance with the requirements of applicable laws.

(2) Storage Location

Personal information generated or collected within the territory of the People's Republic of China is stored on servers located within the territory of the People's Republic of China. Unless we obtain your separate consent, or to fulfill a contract entered into with you, or to comply with obligations stipulated by laws and regulations, we will not provide any of your personal information outside the territory.

There is a set of secure technical safeguard measures including three levels: "firewall level", "database resource level", and "business interaction level", and we continuously strengthen employees' awareness of the importance of protecting personal information.

3. Response to Personal Information Security Incidents

6. Juvenile Protection

If you are a juvenile under 18 years of age, before using the ChatU platform and related services, you should read and agree to this Privacy Policy together under the supervision and guidance of your parents or other guardians. We protect the personal information of juveniles in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations, and will only collect, use, store, share, transfer, or disclose the personal information of juveniles when permitted by law, with the affirmative consent of parents or other guardians, or when necessary to protect juveniles; if we discover that we have collected the personal information of juveniles without prior verifiable parental consent, we will endeavor to delete the relevant information as soon as possible. The titles in the Privacy Policy are provided for convenience of reading only and do not have legal effect in interpreting any specific provisions.

You have carefully read all the terms of this Agreement, as well as all other service terms and operating rules published by the "ChatU Platform", and you are aware of, understand, and accept this Agreement, the aforementioned service terms, and rules, and agree to use them as the basis for determining the rights and obligations of both parties. The final interpretation of this Agreement shall be vested in the brand and the platform operator.

ChatU: An artificial intelligence large language model technology service provided by CubixAI Pte Ltd.

Service provider of this platform: CubixAI Pte Ltd.

Affiliated Company: refers to an affiliated company of CubixAI Pte Ltd.

Personal information: Various information recorded in electronic or other forms related to identified or identifiable natural persons, excluding information after anonymization.

Sensitive Data: Sensitive data refers to personal information that, once leaked or illegally used, is likely to cause damage to the personal dignity of natural persons or endanger their personal and property safety, including biometric identification, religious beliefs, specific identities, medical health, financial accounts, location tracking, and other information, as well as the personal information of juveniles under the age of 14.

Juvenile: A natural person under the age of eighteen.

Log Information: including time, your ID, conversation ID, conversation content, as well as IP Address, browser type, telecommunications carrier, language used, access date and time.

De-identification: refers to the process by which personal information is processed so that it cannot identify a specific natural person without additional information.

Anonymization: refers to the process by which personal information, after being processed, cannot identify a specific natural person and cannot be restored.

Cookie: Cookie and similar device information identification technologies are commonly used technologies in the Internet. When you conduct a test, we may use relevant technologies to send one or more Cookies or anonymous identifiers to your device to collect, identify, and store information about your access and use of this product.
